“player doesnt have an on/off light. After turning off player with the Samsung remote, returning to tv mode, DVD player will go on by itself, and interrupt our Regular tv viewing. What can be done to avoid this Samsung continuous interruption?”

I haven't had this problem. I remove the DVD and the player turns itself off and some point, It's either when I turn off the TV or a time not used, I couldn't find it in the manual but confirmed it by checking the sources available with my Samsung HDTV. I do wish it had a light . It was confusing.
