- Answer Installation is a "cinch". You simply plug in the HDMI Cable (supplied) and plug in the power cord and you are ready to go. You have to go thru a short menu for things like language preferences, and identify the type of network you are using (Ethernet or wireless).

- Answer It comes with Opera (the web browser) store, which is very similar to apple and android app stores, where you can select from over 250 different apps, including games you can play, internet tv, and things like vudu and flixster (as well as the major netflix, youtube, amazon, etc).

QuestionWill it play .avi .mkv. .mp4 files from video discs as well as from the usb port? Would like to hear from someone who finds they are able to play all those formats with this player... Thanks...I have a lot of home burned dvd discs/usb drives with these.

- Answer Yes, I use the captions for both. The Netflix option is conveniently toggled with the 'subtitle' button on the remote, just like it would be for a DVD, and the Amazon options for caption display are the same as those viewed on a PC.

QuestionI have 2 Samsung BluRays. One connects to the internet just fine for one TV.The second one is somewhat further from the router and refuses to be connected. Verizon tells me that the second one, plus the first one, do not provide enough signal to work with the router, which needs a 30/30 signal and is only getting 15/15. I cannot hardwire either BluRay to the router. Verizon offers a signal booster for the second BluRay, but I question such an approach. Is it really a signal strength problem or am I going to have to forego my second BluRay?

- Answer Because of its distance from your router a wifi booster, a better router or placing your player in a less obstructed area in the room are all good options. It all comes down to how much cash you want to throw at the issue. I would try finding a better location first if possable and then a better router if you dont already have a good one. If that fails then a booster might be needed. Do some research on any components before you buy them. youtube has tons of product reviews. Unless you live in a rental or apartment Hardwire is not as complicated a project as you might think and is the best way to go. All you need is a small hole in the floor neer a wall just remember to drill down not up or you will make a mess of your carpet. If you can, drill a hole up into a wall and install an outlet. Again there are youtube videos on how to do this and attaching the ends on your cables. Cable crimping tool and ends are very cheep on amazon. Good luck.

QuestionDoes it have upscalling and HDMI In and OutThe description says it DVD upscales, but every other site (including Samsung) doesn't mention up scaling at all. Also, it says it has HDMI in and out. I don't see that on the player, nor is it mentioned anywhere else.

- Answer This probably has more to do with the quality of the wireless signal, I could stream everything over wireless with no interruptions.
