• as long as you have a WIFI signal it can connect to the internet, youtube, netflix ect...

• It most definitely connects to the Internet via a wireless connection. You obviously have to have a Wi-Fi router installed and operationally connected to the Internet, however. The device does not provide the connection itself, it connects to your Wi-Fi that is connected to the Internet.
