Because of its distance from your router a wifi booster, a better router or placing your player in a less obstructed area in the room are all good options. It all comes down to how much cash you want to throw at the issue. I would try finding a better location first if possable and then a better router if you dont already have a good one. If that fails then a booster might be needed. Do some research on any components before you buy them. youtube has tons of product reviews. Unless you live in a rental or apartment Hardwire is not as complicated a project as you might think and is the best way to go. All you need is a small hole in the floor neer a wall just remember to drill down not up or you will make a mess of your carpet. If you can, drill a hole up into a wall and install an outlet. Again there are youtube videos on how to do this and attaching the ends on your cables. Cable crimping tool and ends are very cheep on amazon. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would assume that both BluRay players are connecting through WiFi to your router, since you did not mention that. I would first make sure that your router has the ability to handle both and also whether or not you have the right options set up. I have quite a few pieces connected to my router through WiFi and hard wired. I have mine set up with filters and passwords. Signal strength should NOT make a difference. If you can check options for your WiFi connections, I would do that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It may be simply that your router cannot handle too many on line elements, especially if you have DVRs, Tablets and laptops plus game consoles all trying to connect?(I'm not suggesting you do have all these but I had a similar problem). I had to get a better router to handle all the machines that needed wi fi access.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue with my wireless and that Samsung device. I returned the Samsung and replaced it with a Sony - BDPS6500 – Streaming 4K Upscaling 3D Wi-Fi Blu-ray Player. It got got right on to my wireless network and it stays on too. Good luck. Thanks to Best Buy for taking back that ridicules Samsung BD-J5700/ZA player.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Define "further".. The real issue is the strength of your WI-FI signal from your router. If it is weak then you will need a booster/extender. I run a netgear router and a netgear booster. I can pick up my WI-FI at near a quarter mile from my house. My Blu-ray and TV are hooked to my extender(which I added in order to create a "entertainment network" and keep my work network separate). I had no issues with connectivity prior to adding the extender. My router is about 50' from the Blu Ray/TV. My extender is about 2 feet from the TV/Blu Ray.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 15/15 speed from my cable provider, and I have no problem with mine. Although; I am not trying to operate 2 machines, I have different Wi-Fi accessible devices running and have little problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tell Verizon to open up your bandwidth and send you a 5g router if you rent from them and specifically one that is 802.11ac as well over 4 x's faster. Or buy your own they have been on sale at Best buy lately. I'v been looking a the Night Hawk model.
