I am new to photo sticks. I read the q & A section and they all mentioned transferring photos . Does that mean once the photos are transferred they are gone from the phone? I actually only want to copy my photos onto the stick as a backup . null

They’ll stay on your phone unless you choose to delete them after they are backed up. It’ll give you the option to delete after import.

After it downloads it, ask you if you want to keep or delete pictures so if you want to keep them, you can

When you “transfer” photos you have the option of keeping the originals where they are or removing the originals and keeping them just on the drive.
