Most laptops can handle an SSD, depending on your motherboards SATA firmware and Bios version. I would check those before updating and make sure you have your Windows disc and key, unless you are cloning your Windows install.

I've only run into issues on older HP laptops that used custom plugs on their drives. I don't know for sure on this laptop but I don't see why not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The drive should work so long as your R15 has a SATA connector fir the SSD. I have used SSDs in systems of many makes and not had an issue yet. If you have Windows 7 or later the drivers will auto install.
