No, the port is bigger on your 8 plus than the smaller connecter on the flash drive. It will work on my tablet but not my S8Plus. I wish I had known this before purchasing. Also the lever to push from USB to Phone hook up doesnt lock, so its very awkward to use. The only thing going for this is the drive size. I would not purchase this again, in fact I really would like a refund on it.
