• The micro USB side is longer and will reach through most cases but I doubt it would reach through an OtterBox.

• The micro usb side is a lil longer than traditional so a slim case should cause no probs but i know the otterbox is quite thick so it may only work if u take off the case

• You should have in the case free physical space at least twice the size of the regular cable connector to fit the flash drive into the socket.
