• This is normally used with with digital cameras and camcorders that support SDHC memory cards. Cell phones will use MicroSD cards.

• You need to use the mini SDHC memory card for an android phone, however not all phones have a slot for a mini SDHC card. My Samsung S6 doesn't use mini SDHC cards

• For a cellphone you need a micro SD card to be able to fit inside. This is simply to big.

• Most Android phones have a Micro SD slot and this is a full size SD card. The HTC Desire, according to Bing, has a microSDHC/SDXC slot. It will not work with this card because this card is the wrong size. You'll need a microSDHC card.
