“Can this strap be used as a wall mount, itself? I want to put 18 lb. 40" TV above fireplace, but there are no centering wall studs. I was thinking I could attach the strap to a ceiling stud and hang TV from ceiling. Does this sound feasible?”

• No, this would not be a suitable product to hang a tv form the ceiling.
