Q: QuestionCan this strap be used as a wall mount, itself? I want to put 18 lb. 40" TV above fireplace, but there are no centering wall studs. I was thinking I could attach the strap to a ceiling stud and hang TV from ceiling. Does this sound feasible?

• A:Answer iIf you have your tv attached to a swivel base your tv is already secured and so I don't think you need a strap too, the strap is more for a stand alone tv on top of a cabinet, hope this helps.
