• It can be attached either to the stand only or to both the stand and the wall. I did not notice any requirements for the stand other than a 1 inch surface area to screw into.

• Good Day, This should go from the TV, to the stand, to the wall but your stand has to be wood, or some material you can drill into. If not, you can definitely just go from the TV to the wall. Thanks! Jake @ SANUS
