I just recently replaced a 10-year old 52" Sony Bravia with a new 55" Bravia. The old set had a large flat swivel base and was anchored to my TV stand with a large 90° clamp on the back edge. Being as I have a few cats I wanted to make sure there was no tipover hazard, even when I just wanted to pull the TV stand out to vacuum behind it. This new TV didn't really have any built-in method of anchoring (screw holes, etc...) and I still wanted it to be as solid as the old one. This tipover strap was not only cheap, but it was also very well built. It's far more heavy-duty than I thought it would be. I think I could use it to secure a lawn tractor on a trailer if need be. ;) Installation took 5 minutes. All I needed was a screwdriver - I already had the existing screw hole in the back of the TV stand leftover from the old anchor.

77” LG OLED hasn’t fallen over yet. Using an office desk hutch as a TV stand so drilling a hole in the back was a non-issue.

I would purchase another one if needed. It's a great item.

This strap has been something I never thought I’d need or want. It prevents the TV from falling forward and breaking the screen. I would recommend it to anyone!

Bought this to help steady a new 55 inch tv (the old one recently suffered a fatal injury). Because it sits on a wooden cabinet backed up to a pine wood wall, insatallation was easy and secure with minimal drilling. Attachment to drywall would require finding studs or using anchors, or both. A bit more work. But if you don't want to install a full-on mounting frame to the wall, this will prevent tip-over. Overall, seems strong and secure. Provided hardware was essy to attach to the tv.

I have a 55" flat screen on top of my mantle and worried that it would fall off during an earthquake. I was skeptical that this would keep the TV form tipping as it connects low on the wall. After installing it and tightening the straps I could tell this TV wasn't going anywhere. Its very secure and easy to install although tightening the straps was a bit difficult since the tv was pretty close to the wall. If you have your TV on an entertainment center or on furniture, it would be a breeze to adjust.

Due to the 65" size of our new Samsung TV, I wanted extra tip protection in case the unit was bumped into or pulled over by a youngster. The Sanus Antitip Strap was easily attached to our current TV table platform and now I have no worries of an accident with damage or injury.

I purchased this strap to support a 75 inch, 91 pound TV. The TV is sitting on a cabinet and strapped to the wall behind it, so I don't worry about it tipping forward. It can tip backward, but would hit the wall and not a person or child (that's the idea). It is well-designed and easy to install; however I wish it was somewhat longer so it could be more easily strapped to the cabinet back and the wall.

Set-up was easy. Televisions come with places on the back side to attach the strap. This one is nice because it is adjustable and can be attached to both a wall and on the back of what it sits on such as a wooden desk.

This does exactly what I was hoping it would do. I used it to strap a TV to the dresser it is sitting since the TV feels a bit top-heavy there. Now I feel very safe knowing this strap is holding the TV securely in place

This strap is quite strong and easy to fix. Really need TV to be near to wall based in the strap length. May not fit on all the TV stands.

This strap is okay to prevent the tv from tipping forward, but not backward. It did not come with the right size bolts, but the 24 hr help team offered to mail the correct ones, explaining that television manufacturers do not make a standard size hole for the bolts. It was easier to go to my hardware store and buy 2 bolts to fit. After that assembly was pretty easy. I taped the tv stand to the table to prevent backward tipping. I have not yet found another solution.

Purchased the Sanus Antitip Strap for my 55" flatscreen that I put on top of my book case to make sure it was secure as I didn't want to wall mount it. I feel very confident with having this strap hold my flatscreen in place and very easy to put together. Took about 10 minutes or less.

We bought this to protect our new TV from being knocked over by our curious cats, who like to jump up on the hand-built oak coffee table that we put against the wall to hold the TV and audio equipment. It was easy to attach and works well. Had to drill a hole in the table on the back side, but if we ever want to use it as a coffee table again we can fill the hole. I'm very happy that there was an inexpensive solution for protecting our TV from being knocked off the table-stand.

Since we were getting new kittens we needed a way to insure that our very slim curved flat screen TV did not get knocked over. After looking around and reading reviews we decided that these straps would be the best option. The straps give you the ability to secure the TV to both the entertainment center and the wall. In our configuration attaching the straps from the TV to the entertainment center was sturdy enough. My husband leaned very hard on the TV after attaching the straps and the TV didn't even move an inch. I would recommend this to anyone looking to secure their TV from an animal, a small child or even an adult tipping the TV over.

I purchased this after thinking about my cat jumping around everywhere & did not want the 50in TV tipping over on him. This was inexpensive, easy to install, can attach to wall OR the back of entertainment center which is choice I made. It has made the TV very sturdy & removed any concerns of tip over. The Geek Squad attached when they set up my TV.

Secured the TV to the TV stand. Very easy to attach at support so the TV would not fall forward.
