It's not recommended to mount this mount to meatal studs. Full motion mounts are not recommend for metal stud install, the twisting and turning can warp the studs. I'd recommend a tilt or low profile for metal stud install. You will also need metal stud anchors to successfully mount to metal studs. Thanks, - Haydn @ SANUS
