Yes Yes The mount weight is meanless it is the load the mount will hold. This wall mount will hold 125# TV. 85" TV are less than 125 and my 50 plasma is heavy but is still only 100# The mount has to heavy and strong to hold a 125# TV 21" out and to do this you need the 3 1/2" 4 bolts drilled and screwed into two 2x4 so it is best you do your home work and see if you have a wall to bolt this mount up.
