“We followed the directions completely. Once we got the tv on the mount our tv started moving towards the left on its own and will not stay where I try angling it. It there a way to stop my tv from moving on its own?”

There are some tension screws and knobs on the back of the mount. You can adjust those and it was get it from moving around. Either that or the mount was not perfectly level whenever it was installed.
