Hi Ken, This mount should be able to hold 86 lbs no problem. It is rated to hold up 125 lbs. If you are looking for a full motion mount that is rated to hold more weight check out the Sanus BXF230 it is rated to hold up to 175 lbs. Thanks, - Haydn @ SANUS
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have this mount for an 85" TV that weighs just over 100 lbs. It holds it just fine and the TV is able to be adjust with ease and holds steady once adjusted. I highly recommend this mount.
