We had 2 installed by Geek Squad a couple weeks ago. One interior and one exteror wall. They just said on exterior walls there may be firestopping material half way down the wall that makes install more tricky. Ours is older and didnt have the stopping. They just said if it is there it requires more holes in wall to get their way behind the firstopping. So yes, it can be installed on exterior. Just might be little harder.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this can be used indoors on an exterior wall. You may have some difficulty pulling cords and cables through due to the insulation, but there is no reason you cannot install on an exterior wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a good question for an electrician. I would imagine it would if you use a GFCI outlet because of its outside location. Best Buy, at least the one located near us, would not install a GFCI outlet (for our kitchen area TV with this product). Hope this helps.
