You should be able to do that with the adjustment screws as it looks like it gives you about 1 inch to 1.25 inches of adjustment but the directions say that they are used for leveling not specifically for lowering. Best thing for that would be to redrill holes 1 inch down and remount. Hope it helps.

The amount of leveling available won't be enough to cover the inch gap between your TV and Beam.
