“Should the brackets on the back of the tv be flush on the back of the tv. I used a wall mount adapter to put screw in and the bottom of the bracket is not flush with tv.”

Diagrams in the installation booklet show what parts would be required for a flat or curved rear panel of your TV. I tried the various lengths of bolts first to get the right fit then used the spacers to make it tight. Mix and match the spacers to make it fit your TV. Solid tight is the name of the game.
