Not sure what the Sanus rep is talking about - I tried this one at a local Best Buy and it does indeed allow for slight tilting to the left/right. You basically can pull each side out a couple inches so you push the left side in, pull right side out and tada! you have it tilted towards the left.

I agree with the other person, the Sanus Rep doesn't seem to know his product very well. Granted you can only tilt it about 10-15 degrees in either direction (left or right) but that should be enough in most cases. It's a great mount and worked great with our 65 inch Samsung curved SUHD TV. The only drawback is that it costs a lot more than most other mounts.
