“How much will this mount tilt from vertical? Also, how close to wall can it get? Is there another Sanus mount you would recommend for a fireplace with no mantle?”

Pushed against the wall it takes up 3.35 inches. If you tilt it forward the top extends 9 inches from the wall to the back of my TV.
