Per the design information of the mount it will hold the TV. Follow the mounting instructions of the mount. Make sure you hit your wall studs with the four mounting screws provided with mount. You can not mount TV in a corner on an (angle) per se. There is only 5.7 inches of mount movement from wall and that's for cable (HDMI/internet) connecting to back of TV. This is not a "Full Motion TV mount, if that's what you want, that tilts and swivels and pulls away from the wall and can be somewhat positioned in a corner. Bottom line call Geek Squad for TV installation. I do.
