I'm using this mount for my Samsung UN55MU6300 above my fireplace. Does Samsung have recommendations for options for mounting my Samsung HW-M550 soundbar? Is there a way to mount it above or below the TV? (I know that below will affect the tilt). null

We mounted ours below. Placed L brackets on the wall and attached / sat the sound bar on them. Light wire wrap and two sided tape to hold them.

Hello, 
While this will work for your Samsung, you will need to see what your soundbar mount can do. Most of them are designed to sit below the TV only.
