• You do not need any tools to tilt up or down. Just apply pressure up or down and tighten the tension screws (on either side of mount) if you would like to keep in the tilt position. You would need a 1/2 socket, a ratchet, a stud finder, level, Phillips screw driver, and a marker of any sort for the initial install to the wall.

• No fools needed. But it does have a little knob on each side that needs to be loosened to tilt the tv.

• No tools. There are two thumb screws to loosen and tighten.
