This mount is designed to fit TVs from 42" to 90", so it should fit your TV. I'm not sure what 400x300 means, but you secure brackets to the TV using hardware provided and then securely hang it in a wall plate you have secured to the wall. I would think that major TV makers and mount makers have coordinated so they work together.

All tv’s have standard backplane mounting holes, although screw depths and pitches vary, mounts come with lots of optional screws and washers for adaptability, and 90% of the time its all in the box, once in a while, I have to go looking for a proper screw at lowe’s.
