That depends on your proximity to the door. If you are right outside (i.e. in Bluetooth range), you can. However, in order to unlock it or lock it from, say your office, you will need the Schage Wi-Fi Adapter Model #BR400. It was released in Mid-July but Best Buy does not carry it yet. It runs about $70 and can be ordered from several other retailers. I've had mine since August and it works fantastically with the lock!

We have used it while on vacation to let certain people into our home while we were gone. You can also give specialized codes to family or anyone you want access and it will record when and who was in your house as well as alert your phone. You can also delete those code via the app at any time.
