• I would say no. Some players have a limitation on the drive size. I have an older Samsung BD unit that will only accept up to 2 TB drives. I have a new Sony BD that accepts at least 4 TB - have not yet tried anything larger with it yet. This unit is really meant to expand storage and connectivity for a computer.
