QuestionHave Carbonite but it's not great.I am looking for a unit that will backup a mirror image of all my files- so if laptop crashes ALL the files are stored so I can get to them immediately without calls or complicated software. Is this what I need?

QuestionThe internal hard drive fits my External Hard Drive Lay-Flat Docking Station and I hear a short processing sound when I turn the docking station on and connect it to my laptops however it is not being read by my MacBook Pro or Microsoft surface pro. Help!

- Answer Might have to go into a Disk Management section to assign the drive to get it recognized if it's a first format. Mine were and it took a bit to get them both recognized sine the PC couldn't find them with File Explorer.

- Answer It depends on the scanner, if it needs a hard drive or are you scanning to your pc, I scan documents all day from my printer to my computer that has this internal Hard Drive and it is working. But I also store away PDFs, JPEGs and other formats like TIFs

- Answer Absolutely. As long as your computer is sata. I use it on a Linux OS computer with Plex. It works very well.
