You can delete/erase the content on the Internal Hard Drive but this is a settings feature. This has nothing to do with the XBox External drive. Adding the external drive itself doesn't erase content on the main drive, Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will not do that. Once you add an external drive it is split into two save sections. Internal and external (whatever name you chose for it). When you go to my games there are 3 tiles one will say sort A-Z and second is sizing of tiles and third is choice of storage. You can choose all storage, internal or your external. Even if the internal storage was lost somehow it is saved on the Xbox cloud.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That would have to be operator error. I have it and keep it connected at all times without any loss of memory issues. Some other brands don't work near as well as the Seagate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the external hard drive and I have never had a problem with it. what it did was switch over so that all downloads and installations would go straight to the external hard drive but the internal is still there perfectly fine you would just have to go into your settings to switch it back
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not unless they choose the wrong option under the storage setup when they added it to the Xbox. Really is a no brained to add it to the system.
