A:AnswerThis is normal with SMR disks. They have buffer for a short write, but if the data doesn't fit, it fills up and the drive slows down so it can remap the data from the cache to the shingled zones. Some bigger (than 4TB) SMR disks have better management of SMR or just more platters so the speed does not drop lower than 10-15 MB/s
A:AnswerHello Kate,
Seagate External Hard Drives are tested for Windows and MacOs only, and some lines also for Gaming Consoles. The system requirements for a Seagate One Touch are:
Windows 7 or higher, or Mac OS X 10.12 or higher operating system
Since our drives are not tested for other devices we cannot assure that they will work. We suggest to contact the DISH Wally manufacturer and ask for compatibility hard drives list.
Regards,
Zac

A:AnswerHello robert,
From your statement, we can understand that you are using the backup software(Toolkit) provided for the Seagate One Touch drive.
Toolkit continous and scheduled back ups will only backup files that have been changed or modified since the last backup. Snapshot will do a full backup each time.
Please check on the Toolkit user manual for more information:
https://www.seagate.com/manuals/software/toolkit/backing-up/
Or contact our support site for direct support over the phone or through email:

A:AnswerHello,
The Seagate One Touch meets the requirements to be used on XBox One (at least 256GB and support USB 3.0), however our labs haven't tested this drive on XBox One yet, that's why we cannot assure that it's compatible with that console.
Please check on Seagate's specific line for XBox ( Game Drive for XBOX) for detailed infos:

A:AnswerHello Solomon,
The Seagate One Touch meets the requirements to be used on XBox One S (at least 256GB and support USB 3.0), however our labs haven't tested this drive on XBox One S, that's why we cannot assure that it's compatible with that console.
Seagate has a line of specific products for the XBox, that works on both Series X/S: the Game Drive for XBox.
Please check on this product's support site for detailed infos:
