when backing up does it only backup new items null

Hello robert, From your statement, we can understand that you are using the backup software(Toolkit) provided for the Seagate One Touch drive. Toolkit continous and scheduled back ups will only backup files that have been changed or modified since the last backup. Snapshot will do a full backup each time.
