• Yes, The wheels can be setup on the APP so you would not get any friction from the motor when scooting with it normally, although it is not recommended to use it this way, it can still be used like a normal scooter.

• I don't think so and I wouldn't recommend forcing anything on it, try checking other options segway has other scooters
