• It accelerates easy and slow downs releasing the accelerator plus the manual brake

• Our adult kickscooters all use a throttle to accelerate. The unit needs to be pushed off like any other kickscooter and the throttle will engage once the speed reaches about 1.8 mph (3 km/h)
