Not technically. You kind of answered your own question with question you asked. If you connect to something with a wire they are no longer wireless until you disconnect the wire. You can look into Bluetooth dongles to connect to your receiver. If you have a USB port on receiver this should be easy. I’m unsure if they make them for a headphone jack. The Bluetooth will give you wireless connectivity to your receiver.
