Personally, I would go to a Best Buy with a Magnolia Warehouse (if there is one close to you) and try on the headphones. They are reviewed to be a tighter fit on several sites, I bought them to try and while they sound great, they quickly hurt ME to wear them. The headphones do come with a 3.5mm adapter and I believe all airlines use that, now.
