This chair is designed for big and tall, and so it should easily support your 300 pounds. To slow down the casters, I have found that positioning them inside plastic bottle caps, such as the large ones found on orange juice containers, works very well. The chair is still mobile, but the bottle caps between the casters and the floor provides the necessary additional friction. Good luck to a fellow Vet!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don’t use it like a recliner because it isn’t. You should never lean back in a chair past the 70% mark if you have spinal injuries. You should sit upright, with shoulders back even when leaving, so your core muscles are engaged at all times. That helps back pain, and prevents you from slouching and falling backwards.
