Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, from what I can see it just has one big multi-layer filter. It looks like a thin pre filter, followed by a charcoal filter and a pleated final filter. It feels pretty heavy. I have had it a couple months and it works very well. It gives you an indication of % of clean air while it is working. I noticed while cooking bacon it was actively removed the bacon odor and a short while later it was back to 100% clean air again.

I purchased this purifier for a Christmas gift. I have not used it yet. But I did a lot of comparison shopping. The filters can run around 90$ but search for the best deals. My health beats cost any day. Any product made by Shark is a no brainer. Shark is the best in many products. In my opinion!
