“My apt is 700 sq ft but somehow the air quality never reaches 100% with two of these air purifiers? I've been running them for a week. Windows closed. The quality fluctuates between 40% - 60% even on max.”

I would check to see if you some undetected pollution source. Ours works just great & keeps our air clean.

If your humidity levels are constantly higher than the air purifier will pick that up and always run at its highest setting. I would say the purifier is picking up particles in the air. Doesn't mean bad air quality though.
