Is this vacuum good on shaggy carpets? null

We would like to inform you that this unit works great on most carpets, and rugs however, it may struggle with some high/plush pile carpets. We recommend contacting the manufacturer of the flooring to verify compatibility.

I have shaggy carpets and it picks up debris nicely but you do have to use more muscle to push it around. I wish it had larger wheels to help it glide easier over the carpet. Also, this won't replace the suction power you are used to with the larger shark vacuums.

I have had some success but have been very precise using the brushroll head. Meaning I hold it up and for lack of a better term 'glyde' it over the rugs I have. But they are small rugs in my bathroom. So if you have a room or rooms that all have shaggy carpets. I would look elsewhere for a vacuum that you can manually turn the brushroll off. And probably one that will provide more suction at the head without the assistance of a brushroll. Not saying this lacks suction; however, unfortunately I don't see an option to turn the brushroll off.
