• It will operate without the app, but you won't be able to take advantage of the mapping application. For instance, with the app I can tell it to clean the den, hall, and guest bedroom. Nothing else will be vacuumed. Without the app you just push the "Clean" button and your little robot will try to conquer the known world, stopping only to recharge and empty its collected dust.
