- Answer The plug is a standard 110v outlet plug with no markings. I would suggest you consult SHARK directly for specifics on power. If your house has a 100 AMP or higher system (Most houses are 200 AMP service now) you will be fine.

- Answer Hasn't killed mine in over two years daily use to hit some dribbled water from the dog. I make sure it doesn't run on days I'm not home and before I've walked through the house in case of any pee or poo, because I learned the hard way on some runny poo.

QuestionWhat is the actual suction rating of the Shark IQ XL?

- Answer Wattage isn't a measurement of suction power of a vacuum, it merely indicates he amount of electrical power consumed. A true suction rating rating should be in pA( pascals)-- like 1,000 Pa, or 1600pA. I can;t find that number anywhere on the Shark webiste ro any of thier product specifications.

QuestionHow can I change the default power mode to automatically start on full power when the vacuum begins a scheduled clean? Currently it always begins the clean in ECO mode.

- Answer It doesnt appear to be an option to change the default cleaning mode. Mine always starts in normal mode. Maybe try resetting to default settings?
