“I have plank tile floors that are rough and uneven. My old Kenmore canister can't handle this. Does anyone know how this Shark works on these new type floors? Thanks”

My Shark's power supply failed after 3 months and the company is very difficult to deal with. If you decide to purchase you will need the BestBuy protection plan or else you will be paying for Shark to honor its so called warranty. As far as your needs, I would also not recommend the Shark because in the bare floor setting the suction was poor and tended to send debris airborne. I have textured 24" tile floors and an obviously defective vacuum so YMMV. Hope that helps.
