A:AnswerIt would work fine. All you would have to do thread your cable in the back and name it "satellite" . You really could use this tv and never even look at any Roku channels. It is not mandatory to use the Roku system.
A:AnswerIt's only $100, worth a shot. Keep it low as possible. No tv manufacturer would recommend placing a tv in a bathroom. Question is...Do you have an exhaust fan in the bathroom?
A:AnswerYes!
The stand is fairly stable. But I would not risk it. More significant is your cable box. Mine has air holes on the top surface. If you cover those holes, the box will overheat, thus reducing the lifetime of the modem. I would mount the TV to the wall.
A:AnswerYes it is available now on Roku. I personally don't use it. There is a separate monthly fee though for the Disney+ Channel. Have heard good reviews for it. Probably a must now with kids (I don't). Disney pretty much owns about everything any more.
A:AnswerI was surprised to find out it does. So far I have tried MP4 videos, works fine. The manual also states it will play MKV and MOV files. Great little set. I use it more as a monitor to run a 5.1 surround setup in my home office. Used mostly to stream music. I don't really use it for video. BTW, it is currently $99. That is the lowest it has gone. Three HDMI (one being ARC), an optical out, and wifi make it a great deal.
A:AnswerDo you mean the app or the HDMI separate box? Either way, you are fine. The app was added to Roku November 11, 2019. The HDMI set top box would be no problem either.
A:AnswerWorks like a regular remote just fine. I can not use any voice operated devices due to my thick Southern accent...lol. Never had one that understood half of what I was saying.
