We have satellite with DishNetwork and not really interested in Roku as we can't get cable or other unlimited data/speed internet. Does this TV work well with standard satellite programming? Has other features we like. null

It would work fine. All you would have to do thread your cable in the back and name it "satellite" . You really could use this tv and never even look at any Roku channels. It is not mandatory to use the Roku system.
