A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Yes, the Shokz OpenFit 2 / 2+ model features a secure over-the-ear hook design and specifically includes volume controls located directly on the earbuds. They combine this with an open-ear fit that allows you to hear your surroundings.
Another great option are the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2. They use an open-ear, wraparound Ni-Ti alloy band for a highly secure fit and feature physical volume buttons located right on the earbud. They are available in a Standard and Mini size.

A:AnswerHi Jack- Shokz here! Our headphones are not hearing devices; however we do have customers who use them to assist with hearing, usually by pairing the headphones to their phone and accessing a hearing aid app like Petralex, Ear Spy, Ear Trumpet, or Hear You Now. These apps use the mic on the phone to pick up surrounding sound and transmit it through the headphones. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!
A:AnswerAs stated, I can not rate the openfit 2 model I paid for cause I didn’t get those. The air model I did receive the battery didn’t seem to last more than a few hours. I would use only 1 earbud for maybe an hour or so then put it back in the case. Later on trying to use the other earbud it wouldn’t connect until I charged the case again.

A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! The OpenFit 2 utilizes AI Call Noise Cancellation technology to minimize background noise during calls. It also has Dual Microphones, two microphones in each earbud, which, along with AI-powered beam-forming algorithms, help filter out background noise. To have some extra volume boost, there is a phone setting that may help in extra loud environments.
-On the iPhone, go to Settings > Sound & Haptics > Headphone Safety, make sure that the Reduce Loud Audio Feature is switched off as this will affect the volume of the headphone. -On an Android, go to the Bluetooth Settings on the phone, find the headphone and make sure that the Absolute Volume feature is switched on for it. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!

A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear this has been your experience. The inconsistent volume between the OpenFit 2 earbuds, specifically with the right side being lower, could be due to a few reasons: a faulty earbud, improper placement, or issues with your device's accessibility settings. If you've tried adjusting the earbud's position and checking your phone's volume balance settings, and the issue persists, we suggest filing a warranty claim. Please visit our website to submit your claim or to contact our Customer Happiness Team. *Friendly Reminder- Shokz take 1.5-2 hours to fully charge. To ensure the longest battery life, it’s important to remove Shokz from the charger once the light turns green.* Thank you!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Yes, the OpenFit 2 will technically pair with gaming systems (i.e., PlayStation, Xbox, etc.) but we don’t recommend it because the lag is significant and would impact gameplay, overall.
And The PS5 may not support direct pairing with OpenFit 2 or any other Bluetooth headphones for audio output. To enable the connection, you need to use a compatible Bluetooth adapter, and plug the adapter into the PS5's USB port. But it should work for any Shokz models. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!

If you find you'd like an extra volume boost, there is a phone setting that may help!

A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! EMF is not a standard test conducted on headphones, so we don't have the exact amount, however all headphones radiate very little compared to most electronic devices. Most wearable devices include low-powered radiofrequency (RF) transmitters to enable them to communicate with other devices nearby.
To be sold in the United States, all such devices must meet Federal Communications Commission (FCC) limits for human exposure to RF radiation.
Wearable devices expose the user to lower amounts of RF radiation compared to exposure limits.
