A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! The OpenFit can be used with a computer and apps like Zoom. During a call, OpenFit captures the subtleties of the human voice in even noisy environments, placing the dual microphones at a prime position to form the most effective Adaptive Beamforming effect, enhancing noise cancellation. If you will be using your Shokz mostly for work and with a computer, we recommend The OpenComm2 UC for the best experience. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
A:AnswerHello- Shokz here! While the OpenFit itself does not work with voice commands, there may be a setting on your phone that allows for voice commands to be used while wearing headphones. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
A:AnswerHello- Shokz here! Yes, the units can be used independent of one another. Both earbuds support independent use for mono music or calls. When used independently, the earbud controls will only activate for the earbud in use. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! The OpenFit should pair with most Bluetooth compatible devices. It's possible a reset may resolve this issue.
To reset your OpenFit:
1. Check the Bluetooth settings on your device for the name of your Shokz OpenFit. Delete or forget the connection if the option is available.
2. Place both earbuds in the charging case.
3. Press and hold the touch/ command area of both earbuds at the same time for fifteen seconds.
4. The status light in your charging case will flash orange for five seconds while the reset is in progress. The status light will then begin to flash orange and green to indicate that the headphones are in pairing mode.
If the reset doesn't resolve the issues, all Shokz come with a 2-year warranty. Please reach out to us if you need further assistance. Thank you!
A:AnswerHello- Shokz here! Our headphones are not hearing devices; however we do have customers who use them to assist with hearing, usually by pairing the headphones to their phone and accessing a hearing aid app like Petralex, Ear Spy, Ear Trumpet, or Hear You Now. These apps use the mic on the phone to pick up surrounding sound and transmit it through the headphones. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!

A:AnswerHi Brian- Shokz here! Yes, the OpenFit is great for quiet places. They should not be able to hear your audio at a normal volume. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
A:AnswerNo these are not bone conduction, they are open ear. Nothing goes in the ear they are small speakers that rest near the ear. Extremely comfortable. Not noise cancelling the purpose is to be able to hear your surroundings. Don't expect great bass but they sound better than bone conduction.
A:AnswerHello- Shokz here! It depends on the hearing aids. We cannot say for sure if hearing aids will fit with the OpenFit. However other Shokz models, such as the OpenRun (and Pro) and OpenMove sit outside the ear and not in or on the ear, people with hearing aids can easily, and comfortably wear these models. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
A:AnswerHello! Shokz here. The OpenFit is a true wireless earbuds, so you can connect it with your phone, pad, laptop or watch via Bluetooth. If you need a MP3, you can take our product OpenSwim into consideration. I hope this helps.
