The Roku remote pictured is not included - just the piece to the left of the Roku remote. Also, you would need the TV's remote control to program the sideclick.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not. The sidekick is programmed from the remote. So if the remote for your TV is not working you will not be able to program the sidekick. You are best to get a universal remote that will work with your TV.

This remote learns codes from your existing remote (pointing the two at each other and pressing corresponding buttons), so if your original remote is broken you will not be able to program this remote (unless you borrow one, or use a traditional universal remote programmed to your TV to program this remote).
