“Would I be able to download audio books or pod casts on a flash drive and play the book by putting the flash drive in the usb port? My Mom is sight impaired so can 't read books or operate a cd player or radio. I can download books on a flash drive.”

Many Libraries offer Special players & audio books free of charge for the sight impaired. Usually just need to complete form & obtain medical certification. Check with your local library.
