Can this be used on a boat on the middle of the sea? null

That's funny because I'm in a boat in the middle of the ocean right now! My wife was holding it up to get a connection, we hit a swell and she dropped it in the water. It sank like a lead ball. To our amazement the signal went to 5 bars, so we dropped anchor and watched Jaws on Netflix...
